I'm a creative marketing manager with a passion for understanding how subcultures within society interact and evolve, and for solving complex problems. Currently living Tampa Bay, I lived in Seattle and was an active member of the Seattle Writers Collective for the past year, focusing on playwriting, poetry, and fiction. This creative work complements my professional career in marketing and customer experience at a B2B site services construction company, where I craft strategies that resonate with clients and drive engagement.
Throughout my career in communications, copywriting, and marketing, I’ve had the opportunity to work across diverse industries—from non-profits and higher education to the food industry and tech startups. In each of these fields, I’ve discovered a consistent connection between marketing and anthropology, allowing me to shape strategies that deeply resonate with audiences. Drawing on my Master’s in Gastronomy, I use anthropological methods to understand customer behavior and cultural dynamics, helping me craft content that is truly engaging and aligned with real customer needs.
This evolving approach has enabled me to create powerful, relevant stories that drive connection and growth. Whether building relationships with stakeholders or collaborating with cross-functional teams, I continually seek to develop marketing strategies rooted in cultural insight and authentic experiences. These insights have helped me navigate various sectors, always with a focus on customer-centricity and meaningful storytelling.
Outside of work, my passion for writing is rooted in the creative writing skills I developed during my undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa. I focus on crafting deep, emotionally resonant works that explore the human experience. Writing, reading, traveling, and studying people continue to fuel my curiosity and creativity, providing inspiration for stories that capture the nuances of life.
